This post is to support the further development and delivery of the MSc Human Clinical Embryology and Assisted Conception programme. First delivered in 2014/15 the course has been very successful attracting a wide range of students from both the UK and overseas. This is an excellent opportunity therefore to become part of an exciting new programme in a Medical School which has been ranked 1st in UK (The Guardian’s University Guide 2021 and in the Complete University Guide 2021) in one of the UK’s top 20 universities (The Guardian University Guide 2021).

The post holder will be responsible for both the development and delivery of laboratory practicals, workshops and teaching in the area of embryology as it relates to human IVF/ART. Experience in human ART and excellent organizational skills are essential as the post holder will liaise/work in collaboration with embryologists/clinical staff/technical staff and students in both the research/teaching team and the IVF clinic (Ninewells Hospital, Dundee (NHS Tayside)).

The post holder will develop a variety of teaching materials and work in close collaboration with other staff from within the programme,  in particular the programme laboratory technician and the IVF unit.

Experience Required:  Significant human ART and embryology laboratory and teaching experience. Ability to plan and execute practicals and workshops and deliver high quality teaching Excellent written and oral communication skills working with clinical, technical and scientific colleagues
Education Required:  •Masters level degree in biological sciences, ideally a PhD.
Salary:  £32,817 - £40,322
