JD Healthcare LTD is the holding company of the well-established and expanding healthcare services of The London Women’s Clinic, The London Sperm Bank, The London Egg Bank and The London Ultrasound Centre and accredited with clinics in London, South Wales and the North-East of England. Combined as a unified operation, the group is now able to become the UK's leading provider of fertility and women’s health services.
The London Sperm Bank (LSB), established in 2010, is the largest UK supplier of donor sperm to patients undergoing assisted reproduction treatment by proving 70% of UK Fertility Clinics with donor gametes which in the last year equated to close to 7,000 fertility treatments.
Donor Sperm is often the only option for same sex couples, single women or couples with male fertility issues to have children. As the largest sperm bank in the UK, LSB is well placed to meet the needs of these patients. However, with UK sperm donors only able to help 10 UK families, so there is now huge potential for LSB to export overseas.
As part of LSB’s expansion plans within the UK and abroad, we are seeking a full-time Business Development Manager to help us identify domestic and international clinics who require donor gametes. The role will involve educating clinics of the benefits of LSB (choosing LSB over international rivals) as well as looking at international options for LSB to export. There is therefore lots of opportunity for overseas travel. All sales will be via registered hospitals and fertility clinics.
The ideal candidate will come from a sales or business background and have experience of dealing with international companies. They will have creative and commercial awareness; enjoy brainstorming ideas and concepts to create engaging strategies and sales pitches.
Applicants will be confident, well organised and proactive, with excellent communication and presentation skills and the ability to engage and build strong relationships with a wide range of audiences.
This is a very exciting and challenging position that will allow the post-holder to provide genuine joy and support to thousands of wannabe parents.
Principle duties and responsibilities
This is a full-time position (40hrs per week). The role will include travelling to different locations within the UK and abroad. A competitive remuneration package is available as well as commission on sales.
JD Healthcare Ltd and its subsidiaries strictly adhere to the Equality Act (2010) and provide equal opportunities to applicants, staff and patients from all demographic backgrounds.
