Nurse Manager  - Full Time ( 37.5 hours per week)

Our Northampton clinic offers today's most advanced and effective procedures, some of which were developed through our own research. At Care Fertility we are dedicated to empowering staff, our clinic leads the Group in extended nursing practice. We are so proud of our nursing teams across the CARE Fertility Group who work incredibly hard for our patients. In 2018 we offered our nurse’s opportunities to further extend their clinical roles, utilising the MSc in Advanced Fertility Practice at Edgehill University Liverpool and for prescribing courses, using their local universities.

For the academic year 2019, we are continuing to offer places to our nurses on the MSc, prescribing courses and individual Masters level modules.

As a Nurse Manager you will be responsible for:

  • The long-term nursing strategy for the clinic and the day-to-day management of the nursing function.
  •  You will be pivotal in the co-ordination of patient treatment cycles, theatre diaries and daily organisation of the nursing team. You will need to demonstrate leadership skills and have a sound understanding of effective people management practices.
  • Identify areas of development within the scope of own professional practice and maintain up to date knowledge by reading relevant material and attending appropriately identified courses, meetings and conferences.


The successful Nurse Manager will be:

  • Registered Nurse or Midwife, with current NMC registration
  • Proven people-manager, with an understanding of effective performance management practices.
  • Confident and inspires confidence in others
  • Able to think outside the existing environment and explore ways to maximise efficiency, innovation and productivity.

 The successful candidate having experience of working within IVF / women's health environment would be advantageous however this is not essential.
