Daniela Smale

I am a Clinical Embryologist seeking locum work. As well as being flexible as to location, I am also available to cover both short and long term contracts. I have extensive knowledge in both embryology and andrology and have also been actively involved in quality control procedures and audits. I adapt quickly to being part of a new team and thrive within collaborative environments. 

I am HCPC registered and a member of ARCS and IBMS. 

I trained to be an embryologist at CARE London. This fast-paced lab provided me with comprehensive experience, as well as the skills necessary to cope with a high turnover of work whilst maintaining high standards of patient care. I then progressed to Wessex Fertility, part of The Fertility Partnership, where I completed my state registration and developed my lab techniques further. 

I have been involved in two HFEA inspections whilst at these clinics, and have participated extensively in quality control tasks. 

I have withdrawn from full time employment to gain experience throughout different clinics to explore how they operate with the common goal of achieving the best results for their patients. Versatile and hard-working, I enjoy meeting new people and expanding my skill-set by embracing new professional challenges.
