Roles & Responsibilities:
Embryology:-
- Handling of In Vitro Fertilization (I.V.F) procedure which includes handling Oocyte (including IVM procedure), Oocyte aspiration, egg quality assessment, Denudation, Intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) & fertilization assessment- pn Scoring and grading, early cleave Check, embryo grading, embryo loading & Embryo transfer, Assisted Hatching (Laser).
- Assisted for Biopsy for Preimplanatation Genetic Screening/Diagnosis
- Cryopreservation (Vitrification) and Thawing of Oocyte and embryo.
Semenology:-
- Semen analysis (Total count, Motility and Morphology)
- Semen preparation for Intra cytoplasmic sperm injection (including TESA and PESA sample), Invitro fertilization and intrauterine insemination using Swim up Method and Density Gradient method
- Preparation and processing of sample from retrogade ejaculation
- Cryopreservation and thawing of semen sample
- Media preparation for IVF & ICSI procedures
Routine Duties:-
- Media preparation for IVF procedures
- Lab maintenance
- Equipment maintenance (including cryotank)
- Record maintenance, patient liaison, statistics work and restocking
- Quality control and Quality assurance
