Competitive salary, depending upon skills and experience
Do you have experience of data analysis and reporting? Do you enjoy working on quality management systems?
Are you looking for a new challenge?
Then this could be the role for you…
This new service has been established in response to the rising costs of assisted conception treatment both to patients treated privately and due to the very limited NHS funded provision. It’s an exciting time to join us at this early stage of our service. BPAS Fertility consists of a hub unit in central London where the embryology and andrology labs are located and two satellite units outside of London where consultations, ultrasound scans and cycle management are carried out.
In the hub, a team of Nurses, Midwives, Doctors, Embryologists, Administrators and a Counsellor collaboratively provide not-for-profit, patient-centered, evidence-based fertility treatments including IVF, ICSI, frozen embryo cycles, fertility preservation and intra uterine inseminations for a whole range of patients.
As the Quality Manager, you will join the multi-disciplinary IVF unit team to develop, implement and manage the Quality Management System for the service. You’ll provide leadership and direction in Quality Management, promoting quality within all areas of the service. A key part of the role will be working independently and be accountable to the HFEA Person responsible.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with quality systems and their management, someone who has knowledge of clinical governance issues including ethical and regulatory considerations and somebody who has comprehensive understanding of the principles and application of quality management with awareness of current guidelines, regulatory and accreditation requirements that apply to HFEA-licensed centres.
This role can be part-time and combined with a part-time Clinical Embryologist or Fertility Nurse role. If this is of interest and you think you fulfil the requirements of both roles please indicate this in your application.
If you would like to have an informal chat about this role before submitting your application, please email Marta Jansa Perez, Director of Embryology at marta.jansa-perez[email protected]
Closing date: Sunday 14 March 2021.
Interview date: Tuesday 23 March 2021.
If you do not hear from us within 2 weeks of the closing date, unfortunately you will not have been shortlisted on this occasion. We do reserve the right to bring forward our closing date, without notice, in the event of high volumes of interest.
