  • You will gain a comprehensive understanding of the biological processes of human reproduction, developing a solid scientific foundation in fertility and infertility mechanisms.
  • You will master the main laboratory techniques used in assisted reproduction, including gamete and embryo handling, in vitro fertilisation, embryo culture and cryopreservation.
  • You will receive training in clinical embryology, preimplantation genetic diagnosis and genetic analysis applied to embryo selection, with an ethical and regulatory focus.

60 credits and 320 instructional hours distributed across 11 courses covering everything from the physiological foundations of reproduction to preimplantation genetics and stem cell research.

Module 5. The Andrology Laboratory

Module 6. The Clinical Embryology Laboratory

Module 7. Cryobiology: Preservation of Maternal and Paternal Heritage and Embryo Preservation

Module 8. Genetic Analyses in Assisted Reproduction and Sex Determination Techniques. 

Module 9. The Preimplantation Genetic Testing Laboratory

Module 10. Basic and Clinical Research in Human Reproduction and Stem Cells

Module 11. Ethical and Legal Aspects of Assisted Reproductive Technologies

Requirements:
This Master’s degree is aimed at graduates in Biomedical Sciences and related life science disciplines who wish to direct their professional career towards assisted human reproduction and applied biotechnology.
