Lead Fertility Nurse - London Women’s Clinic, Harley Street

Our flagship clinic on Harley Street, London, is in an exciting phase of growth and transformation and as such, are looking to appoint a Lead Nurse to oversee the nursing team at Harley Street. This position will be directly assisting the Director of Nursing who has been with company for over 20 years, has an incredible wealth of knowledge and oversees our large nursing team of fertility nurses & health care assistant over nine clinics in the UK.

As part of the clinical leadership team, you will be assisting with the management of our health care assistants, sonographers and nursing staff, as well as being a constant liaison with our consultants. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced senior fertility nurse to join the London Women’s Clinic at an important time in our development.


  • Working with the nursing team, you will oversee the day-to-day running of our Harley Street clinic.
  • Responsible for assessment planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs of individual patients undergoing IVF treatments.
  • To supervise and monitor standards of nursing care and nursing practice, keeping abreast of technical and surgical developments.
  • Oversee a large team of talented nursing staff.
  • Medicine management
  • Oversee nurse’s appraisal, training, competencies & revalidation process


  • A minimum of 4 years of fertility/IVF nursing experience.
  • A minimum of 1 year of leading or managing a team.
  • Understand the role of the HFEA.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent practical experience/related qualifications.
  • Be a committed, organised and dedicated individual.
  • Be inspiring, motivational and have eye for improvement.
  • Follicular tracking (working towards it) preferable

Job Type: Full-time, 8 hours a day, between 8am – 8pm, Monday - Friday.

Salary:  Competitive
