The London Women’s Clinic has been at the forefront of IVF in South Wales since 1992. The programme operating in Cardiff, Bristol and Swansea has been one of the most successful and uninterrupted IVF programmes in the region. The highly innovative programme is aspiring to complete over 1,000 IVF cycles in 2018 and is eager to attract a Laboratory Manager /Senior Embryologist who can contribute to the continuous success of the Clinic.
After 10 years, a unique opportunity has arisen for a Laboratory Manager/Senior Embryologist to join LWC Cardiff to be responsible for ensuring the most advanced scientific techniques are available for our patients and providing managerial level support and guidance to the scientific teams at LWC Wales.
The successful candidate will be working towards HPC accreditation and fully competent in ICSI with an ACE certificate/Diploma in Clinical Embryology/BSc and have extensive hands-on embryology experience at senior/managerial level. Applicants will be able to demonstrate working knowledge of HFEA practice and laboratory audit processes. Candidates will be required to have prior experience of embryo biopsy, PGD and oocyte freezing. Above all, we are looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our group.
Applicants will be confident, organised and self-motivated individuals with outstanding communication, interpersonal, leadership and team building skills. Sound business and commercial acumen is essential, as the candidate will be expected to provide supervision in research, quality management and marketing.

This is a full-time position (40hrs per week) which also includes weekends on a rota basis. Occasional travel to other clinic locations within the UK will be required on an as and when required basis. An excellent salary package is on offer for the successful candidate.
