The Journal Club is a forum for participants to become familiarised with the latest advances in Assisted Reproduction Technology. It encourages active critical evaluation of the published literature and provides a better understanding of the quality and broader relevance of the data presented.
This Journal Club will discuss the outstanding study on In vitro maturation (IVM). IVM is an alternative to in vitro fertilization (IVF) for women at high risk of developing ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS). This study determined the effectiveness and safety of a freeze-only strategy versus fresh embryo transfer (ET) after IVM with a pre-maturation step (CAPA-IVM) in women with a high antral follicle count (AFC).
Note: All participants will receive a certificate of participation.
