The Association of Clinical Embryologists (ACE),
09 March 2013

At the 2013 ACE AGM in Liverpool it was decided that the ACE Executive Committee would benefit from the support of a President, someone with a wealth of expertise and longstanding reputation.

Dr Karen Turner has been appointed as the first ACE President.

Karen joined the Oxford Fertility Unit to lead the laboratory team in 2002. The unit now performs over 2000 cycles each year. Karen previously undertook lead roles at Shefffield Fertility Centre and Burton Centre for Reproductive Medicine. Karen was the Chair of the ACE Executive Committee from 2000 to 2003. She has also been an External Assessor for the ACE Training Committee. Beyond ACE, Karen was the first embryologist to sit on the British Fertility Society Committee, and has been an external advisor for the HFEA.
