SSIF launches ‘CME online symposium’ in reproductive medicine

Serono Symposia International Foundation has just launched its first ‘CME online symposium’: From ovarian stimulation to the laboratory: is there room for improvement?

CME online symposium

In this new initiative SSIF is presenting a symposium with virtual presentations from expert speakers from around the world, without bringing the faculty together for a live event. If you are registered to the SSIF website you will be able to view the presentations whenever it is most convenient to you, at your own pace and with the help of transcriptions of the speakers’ texts.

The knowledge of several aspects of reproductive function has improved dramatically thanks to research on the genetics of gonadotrophin and its receptors, the structure and function of oocytes and the genetics and function of the endometrium. These achievements will have a significant impact on Assisted Reproductive Techniques and on its outcomes and will allow tailoring of ART procedures depending on individual infertility profiles. The aim of this CME online symposium is to provide an overview of the experimental background that personalized ART is based on and to suggest how to implement this approach in practice.
