From ovarian stimulation to the laboratory: is there room for improvement? April 9, 2010; Bangkok, Thailand
Michael Withers, Serono Symposia International Foundation
18 February 2010

The knowledge of several aspects of reproductive function has improved dramatically thanks to research on the genetics of gonadotrophin and its receptors, the structure and function of oocytes and the genetics and function of the endometrium. These achievements will have a significant impact on Assisted Reproductive Techniques and on its outcomes.

This Conference aims to provide an overview of most recent attainments and to discuss how they can help in personalizing ART and improving outcomes. Delegates will benefit from an overview of new achievements in reproductive function physiology, updates on approaches aimed at personalizing IVF and appreciation of recent attainments on endometrial function in stimulated cycles.
