9th Annual Clinical Embryologist�s Summit Conference Current Topics in the ART Laboratory Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 Fluno Center for Executive Education Madison, WI Conference Organizer: Wael Abdel Megid, MD, PhD, HCLD Co-organizers: Dean E. Jones, PhD, HCLD The Clinical Embryologist�s Summit Conference is an annual event designed to give participants an informal setting to share ideas and interact with invited speakers and other embryologists. Interaction is strongly encouraged and is an essential part of this conference. This year's Summit Conference will have discussions on current topics in the ART laboratory including current FDA regulations, minimizing the use of ICSI, and single embryo transfer. The invited speakers for this year�s Summit Conference are Joe Conaghan, PhD from the Pacific Fertility Center, Kimball O. Pomeroy, PhD from the University of Arizona, Amy Sparks, PhD from the University of Iowa, Russell Bierbaum, MST representing ReproTech and Steve Yost representing Reglera. Invited speakers will provide an educational backdrop for the Summit which is expected to foster interaction and discussion within a small meeting atmosphere. All participants are encouraged to present any information that they would like to share and are asked to bring visual or other materials for discussion. The 9th Annual Clinical Embryologist�s Summit Conference will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2008 at the Fluno Center for Executive Education in Madison, WI. http://uwexeced.com/fluno A Reception and Dinner will precede the Summit Conference on the evening of Friday May 2nd at the Fluno Center Skyview Room. The reception begins at 6:30 PM with dinner to follow from 7:00 - 9:00PM CDST. Submission of visual materials for presentation are requested at this time. On Saturday, May 3rd, breakfast will be served at the Fluno Center beginning at 7:00AM CDST and the Summit Conference will convene at 9AM. Any conference materials not yet submitted for discussion may be submitted during breakfast. Lunch is also included. The conference is scheduled to end at 5PM CDST. Registration for the Summit Conference must be completed on-line through University of Wisconsin Conference Services at: http://www.cals.wisc.edu/ccs The registration fee for the Summit Conference is $50 (US) which includes the reception dinner on May 2nd as well as breakfast and lunch during the conference on Saturday May 3rd . Attendees will receive registration confirmation by e-mail. Any additional requests may be made at the time of registration. Registration is limited to 50 participants.
