As a Medical Director at Care Fertility, you’ll be more than just a Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, you’ll also have the opportunity to shape the experience for your patients and your team. You’ll lead the journey in your clinic.

The experience our patients receive is critical to us and the patient centred treatment you provide is paramount to their experience.  You’ll optimise this by corresponding and communicating with patients in ways other than face to face (e.g. phone, video, email, letter). You have the professional gravitas that provide them with the confidence they need that you’re the expert, while remaining approachable and consultative.

As a Consultant, you’ll perform all routine IVF procedures, manage, plan and undertake patient treatments, providing an exceptional consultation service. You’ll manage the assessment of emergency admissions, arrange appropriate onward referral where appropriate, or provide clinical support to nursing staff providing emergency telephone advice, as required.

Your impact won’t be just felt by our patients, you’ll be empowered to suggest improvements to current policies and procedures. You’ll act as a Care Fertility ambassador, promoting services through media interviews and educational meetings.

About you:

You’re either a Medical Director already, or you’re an experienced Consultant in Reproductive Medicine, however you’ve reached the ceiling where you are but you’re ambitious for your next move. One with an organisation behind it that has the governance, scientific, and medical expertise that will allow you to drive your career forward. You may already have a lot of leadership experience, or maybe you’ve stepped in and deputised frequently.

You’re driven to continue your personal development, we’ll actively encourage you to pursue research interests, to contribute to the advancement of the clinical programmes and to the success of Care Fertility.

You’re flexible, you’re able to independently judge potential situations, identify and take alternative courses of action without putting the client or business at risk

Your qualifications include:

• MBBS, or equivalent medical qualification
• Full registration and licence to practice with the GMC
• MRCOG, or equivalent
• ATSMs in Subfertility and Assisted Conception, or equivalent

This is a full-time role based at 108-112 Daisy Bank Rd, Manchester M14 5QH. Our clinic has a has a stable, mature team in place. You’ll experience continuity with your patients
