EMBRYO BIOPSY COURSES
Dave Morroll, Origio a/s 07 September 2017 Origio a/s runs a program of training events at its headquarters at Måløv on the outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. As the biopsy course dates published at http://www.origio.com/training-lab/ are fully booked, two more biopsy courses are being scheduled: October 17-18, 2017 Biopsy Techniques - covering PB, day 3 and trophectoderm biopsy – see http://www.origio.com/training/biopsy-techniques/ October 19-20, 2017 Trophectoderm Biopsy & PGS - covering only day 5 TE biopsy – see http://www.origio.com/training/trophectoderm-biopsy-pgs/ Each course will consist of lectures, demos and hands-on sessions. Numbers are restricted to just SIX participants per course to ensure participants may benefit from intensive biopsy practice with one-to-one tuition. Please note that hamster ova and mouse embryos are used and the course does not include any observation of clinical cases. The lab uses Research Instruments Integra 3 micromanipulators and Saturn Active lasers but users of other systems find the transition easy and the learned skills are easily transferable. The fee for the course is 600 Euros which includes lunches and transport to/from the centre of Copenhagen. Other travel and accommodation is not covered.
