http://kiranfertilityservices.com/surrogate-mother-recruitment-and-testing/
The choice of the surrogate is best left to the Doctors as they choose the lady with the best endometrium just before the transfer. This is also one of the major reasons for our success.
Medical- Psychological checks:
We test locally for sexually transmitted diseases- all common and uncommon.
Then the prospective surrogate mother is brought to our clinic where our Psychiatrist will counsel them in detail.
Thereafter we do Advanced Blood Tests including a Chromosomal Analysis.
This is followed by Hormonal Assays and a Trans-Vaginal scan to assess their own fertility (this is the most important step and is done only by our Obstetricians and Gynecologists).

Step 2. Screening for both people who provided the eggs and sperm used to create the embryos for infectious diseases such as HIV,Hepatitis B & C.
Step 3. During treatment, the unused embryos are frozen and then stored in tanks of liquid nitrogen. A liquid called a cryoprotectant is added to protect the embryos during freezing. In the standard freezing method, embryos are slowly frozen down to -196 degrees celcius. ‘vitrification’ is a fast freeze process – the embryo undergoes instantaneous ‘glass-like’ solidification without the damaging formation of ice crystals (which can occur with the standard method offreeze)

Process for Egg Donation:
Surrogacy is nothing less than medical revolution for those couples who are facing problems due to infertility but desirous of having their own child. As an Assisted Reproductive Technique or ART, surrogacy is now a globally accepted reproductive procedure. The success of surrogacy treatment largely depends upon the egg donor or surrogate therefore, couples should make judicious decision before going in for donor sperm, egg or embryos of the donor.
