Fertility Specialist / Consultant

TFP Fertility has a comprehensive network of world renown clinicians of which share their views and knowledge with all of the teams at TFP Fertility. You will manage the care of new and existing patients from the consultation process through to the completion of treatment whilst working within accordance of clinical policies and protocols. 

The post holder must have a full GMC registration and will work with the other doctors within the clinic. The post holder is responsible for delivering and maintaining the highest standard of clinical and patient care in accordance with HF&E Act 2008 and the current HFEA Code of Practice.

About the Job:

You will be responsible for conducting routine IVF procedures, overseeing and coordinating patient treatments, and delivering exceptional consultation service. Our patients' experience is of utmost importance to us, and the patient-centred care you provide is pivotal in shaping their journey. Enhancing this experience will involve engaging with patients using various communication channels, such as phone, video, email, and letters, aside from face-to-face interactions. Your professional expertise will instil confidence in patients while maintaining an approachable and consultative demeanour.

Your role will also involve coordinating appropriate responses to emergency situations. Additionally, you will provide clinical guidance to nursing staff as well as offering emergency telephone advice to patients when necessary.

The above will be reviewed as required, in consultation with the post holder.  It is offered as a guide to the key responsibilities and duties but does not preclude other projects that may arise as the organisation evolves.

• HyCoSy & Saline procedures
• Egg collections
• Embryo transfer lists
• Conducting consultations
• SSR procedures desirable
• Work closely with medical, nursing and other colleagues to offer the highest level of patient care
