The London Women’s Clinic is an expanding private healthcare group offering state of the art services in assisted conception and women’s health. The group is now one of the UK's leading providers of fertility and women’s health services.

The role of Patient Support Officer/Fertility Coach is to support patients attending London Women’s Clinic centres at Harley Street and London Bridge to promote a positive experience within a supportive environment.

The successful candidate will provide 1-2-1 coaching and small group support, that may include discussions on aspects such as nutrition, acupuncture, etc., to act as a gateway to counselling, external support or treatment. You will also work closely with the marketing team, attending/organising public events and sharing information about the support available to patients having treatment within the clinic centres.

Essentially the position is a perfect platform for an outgoing confident professional who enjoys forming dependable relationships with clients and when asked provides comfort during and after treatment. Public presentation/speaking will be a distinct advantage in this post. Prior experience in a similar role such as councelling, patient support, coaching, will also be an advantage.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing a point of contact for patients via phone and email, before and after treatment.
  • Supporting patients through their treatment pathway, by acting as a key point of contact and providing coordination between them and the different disciplines.
  • Providing a point of contact for the counselling team across the group, booking appointments, managing a last-minute waiting list and providing support.
  • To provide practical wellbeing support to clients by means of organising informal group sessions at regular intervals such as information on nutrition, their local alternative therapists, support groups and occasionally practical information such as directions, accommodation options etc.
  • To provide support and reassurance to patients following egg recovery and embryo replacement procedures where required.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary:  £25,000.00 to £35,000.00 /year dependent on experience
