Beta Plus Fertility Clinic which is located in Tbilisi, Capital of Georgia, is pleased to announce the vacancy for the position of full time embryologist: 



Embryologists need a practical and theoretical understanding of human reproductive biology, embryology, infertility and assisted reproductive technology. Also need to keep up to date with current regulations and legislation involving these subjects.

The work of a embryologist involves: determining fertility levels of individuals; collection of eggs and sperm (gametes) from patients for processing; maintaining viability of gametes and embryos during processing; preparation of gametes and the environment for IVF and facilitation of fertilisation; micromanipulation of gametes (ICSI); monitoring embryo development; embryo selection for transfer to recipient; embryo culture and cryopreservation; maintaining an understanding of human reproductive biology, embryology, infertility and ART; having knowledge of quality control, ethical issues, and regulations surrounding gamete and embryo handling; care and maintenance of equipment; record keeping. Knowledge and experience in PGD and Biopsy would be an additional asset.
