At Care Fertility you’ll get involved in the full range of lab duties, such as oocyte collections, sperm preparation and freezing, inseminations and ICSI, fertilisation and embryo assessments, embryo freezing and transfer, and oocyte freezing dependent on level of training. You can even get involved in biopsy if you’re trained.
This is a great clinic to work at, with a great team around you. We’re very collaborative and open to your suggestions for protocol improvement.
If you’re a biopsy practitioner then great! But that’s net essential though as we can provide training for this. What is essential is that you’re a state registered Clinical Embryologist who understands their importance in delivering a quality patient experience.
Why would you be interested in this role?
We’re CARE Fertility, and we aim to be the greatest employer of embryologists in the country, so you’ll have unrivaled opportunities to develop your skills and abilities. We have a range of bespoke tools such as CARE Maps, genetic testing cycles, a vast array of high-tech embryology procedures and many developmental projects you can contribute to.
You’ll have opportunities to attend conferences and networking – being an ambassador for the company. We have specialist focus groups to get involved with, plenty of R&D with the opportunity to do research projects. You’ll also have areas of responsibility to delegate – such as donor sperm, procurement, lab quality, training junior staff or managing the rota.
You’d be joining a dynamic team in one of CARE’s busiest laboratories. CARE Manchester undertakes many complex cases, including PGT-A, PGT-M/Sr and social oocyte freezing and performs around 600 fresh and 300 frozen treatment cycles annually.
This is a 12-month fixed-term contract, offered on part-time basis at our Manchester clinic (108-112 Daisy Bank Rd, M14 5QH). Working 3 days a week between Mon to Fri 08:00-16:00 with weekends on a rota.
