Sims IVF is excited to announce the opening for Deputy Laboratory Manager in our Dublin clinic.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced embryologist looking to grow or develop their existing management skills within the largest fertility clinic in the Republic of Ireland.

As part of the Virtus Health group, Sims IVF offers a full range of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures with our Dublin site currently performing 1100 fresh cycles, over 1000 frozen embryo transfers and 600 IUIs per annum, in addition to TESE and gamete/embryo cryopreservation.

We also have an active PGT programme and work with up-to-date time-lapse technology (Embryoscope+) which will shortly be upgraded by the introduction of embryo selection aided by artificial intelligence, with a view to increasing our already excellent success rates. This position offers the successful applicant the opportunity to join a clinic at the forefront of patient care within a multinational team.

We are looking for a highly dedicated and motivated individual to join our team. You will play a key role in the provision of clinical services for patients and will provide day to day management of the busy IVF laboratory with the support of the Laboratory Manager. You will be expected to have a flexible attitude in line with the changing demands of the position and alongside the Laboratory Manager you will be responsible for the supervision of the embryology and andrology services together with training of embryology team members according to individual and laboratory requirements. You will participate and contribute to maintaining and improving standards of service including ensuring appropriate laboratory protocols and SOPs, quality management, monitoring of laboratory performance, troubleshooting and audits. Your role will also involve clinical discussion and non-routine clinical decision making within the embryology laboratory, in addition to the normal working tasks of a senior embryologist.

The successful applicant should be proficient in ICSI and vitrification and experience in embryo biopsy would be preferable, however training can be provided. The ideal applicant should have demonstrable experience in quality assurance and team leadership.

Sims IVF Dublin is located in Clonskeagh, in South Dublin City. Located a 15 minute drive from the City Centre or the M50 which offers the successful applicant an ideal location for access from multiple locations.
