Belfast Fertility Northern Ireland’s leading private fertility clinic are seeking a Deputy Laboratory Manager to join our expanding team at our state of the art Belfast clinic. The Deputy Laboratory Manager is to provide effective day to day supervision of the embryology and andrology services (including effective rota management), the supervision and training of junior embryology staff, ensure appropriate laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures, quality management, monitoring of laboratory performance, troubleshooting and audits. In the absence of the Laboratory Manager the post holder will be expected to deputise for the duties of the Laboratory Manager.
The post holder’s roles include clinical liaison, non-routine clinical decision making within the embryology laboratory and responsibility for matters relating to the HFEA. These tasks are in addition to the normal working expectations of an embryologist within the GCRM-Belfast team.
