As Deputy Group Medical Director (South) you will provide leadership to a group of local Medical Directors and clinical leads across the South of England. You will be accountable for key deliverables such as clinical efficiency and excellence, and high-quality, patient-centred care. Along with the senior leadership teams you will drive the commercial growth of the organisation and make a significant contribution to achieving the company’s strategic objectives.
The clinics you will be responsible for are at different stages of their CARE lifecycle - with a mixture of well-established clinics, new-builds, and recent acquisitions. You will play a leading role in guiding these clinics to standardised practice and integrating the teams towards CARE’s culture and values.
In this role you will be a key member of the central senior management team (SMT) and will play an active role in improvement projects across the whole group. By engaging and forming strong relationships with the key central and local stakeholders, you will get an understanding of where process improvements can be made to drive the business forward. You should have the confidence to challenge whenever you believe improvement can be made. With an analytical and inquisitive mind and an ability to interrogate data, you should be able to identify, develop and deliver improvement projects.
You will need to have extensive clinical experience in reproductive medicine and in managing and developing doctors, ideally within the private sector. You will need to demonstrate an ability to deliver results at pace, be comfortable working autonomously and have the ability to empathise, engage and inspire a variety of stakeholders at all levels.
In the Deputy Group Medical Director (South) role, you will:
Have line management responsibility for a group of Medical Directors, and clinical leads, in the South of England and undertake their annual performance and development reviews.
