The successful candidate will work in within a successful organisation based in one of the world’s most renowned medical areas known globally for excellent care and service. The role The Clinical embryologist will work as an integral part of the Clinic’s laboratory team, reporting directly to the Lab Manager. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Clinical Embryologist and be able to work independently in the lab. The Clinic is committed to providing the very best patient care and being able to achieve this depends heavily on the standard set in the laboratory. Hence, you will be data driven and results oriented. Key requirements Qualifications and training Higher degree in Reproductive Science or similar Embryology training completed – ACE certificate or STP Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration as a Clinical Scientist Certified ICSI practitioner Certified biopsy practitioner is an advantage IMSI and time lapse microscopy is experience is an advantage Experience Minimum 2 years clinical embryology experience is required (UK experience is preferable) Duties All routine clinical embryology work, including egg collections, IVF, ICSI, embryo assessments, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation by vitrification, and all routine andrology work, including semen assessments, semen preparation and semen cryopreservation. All administrative duties associated with the laboratory. Quality management duties associated with the laboratory, including audit. Evidence of your previous individual lab KPIs will be required. You must be able to demonstrate working knowledge of the HFEA code of practice. Hours Full time (37.5 hours per week) + additional as required by work. Weekend work will be required. Salary range Competitive based on skills and experience.
