The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the multi-disciplinary team at our Cyprus clinic. The post is ideally suited to candidates with at least 2 years clinical experience.

With highly experienced clinical staff and state of the art facilities, we provide world leading care to patients seeking advice and treatment for fertility and related issues including gynaecology, endoscopic surgery and urology.

The successful applicant will have experience in a full range of embryological techniques with a minimum of two years clinical experience.  In addition to having an excellent attention to detail you should have great communication skills. You must be able to work independently in order to deliver a high quality laboratory service to our patients. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Clinical Embryologist and be able to work independently in the lab.

Key Responsibilities

• To perform all clinical embryology and andrology duties following appropriate training and competency assessment
• To participate in laboratory maintenance tasks and assist in validation within the laboratory
• To assist in the management and maintenance of laboratory equipment
• To adhere to all standard operating procedures
• To inform patients of treatment options, treatment outcomes and discuss the implications
• To participate in internal and external QA

Qualifications and experience

• Life sciences degree
• At least 2 years of clinical embryology experience
• Experience of quality management in the IVF laboratory

Duties

• All routine clinical embryology work, including egg collections, IVF, ICSI, embryo assessments, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation by vitrification, and all routine andrology work, including semen assessments, semen preparation and semen cryopreservation.
• All administrative duties associated with the laboratory.
• Quality management duties associated with the laboratory, including audit.
• Evidence of your previous individual lab KPIs will be required.

This position involves weekend and holiday work and participation in ‘on call’ on a rotational basis.
