This is a wonderful opportunity to join our welcoming and innovative assisted reproductive team and be a part of modernisation at the Homerton Fertility Centre. Our busy centre performs approximately 1000 cycles of IVF or ICSI per annum and offers the full range of assisted reproductive techniques. We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented dynamic team player who is willing to work hard and takes pride in a job well done. The applicant has to be an HCPC registered, innovative, self-starter to continuously improve the lab-based key performance indices. We will also consider applicants who are in the process of obtaining HCPC registration.
You must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as the role requires working as part of a multidisciplinary team with significant patient contact. You should possess substantial experience in andrology & embryology and also as an ICSI practitioner. Good working knowledge of quality management tools are desirable.
The post holder will have an opportunity to work closely with the person responsible and the lab director and part of the HFEA and regulatory framework. The centre also provides an opportunity for the post holder to be involved in research under the guidance of Prof Roy Homburg.
There is also ample opportunity to pursue the quality management module in fertility through BFS and learn innovative techniques like the use of time-lapse technology in ART. The centre is also very keen for the embryologist to engage in the direct patient interaction on embryology related questions in the clinic.
This position will require weekend, bank holiday and out-of-hours work on a rotational basis and the successful candidate should be available to start as soon as possible or within 3 months.
Interviews are expected to be held on Tuesday 22nd December.
