An exciting opportunity has arisen for a trained Clinical Embryologist to join our dedicated team at the Centre for Reproductive Medicine, University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire.
 
The Centre for Reproductive Medicine is a well-established unit offering a full range of laboratory diagnostic and assisted conception techniques including IVF, ICSI, PESA, TESE and semen & embryo cryopreservation. The Centre for Reproductive Medicine is housed in a purpose built facility and the embryology laboratories are equipped with state of the art equipment. The majority of our IVF patients have blastocyst stage embryo transfer using the EmbryoScope for culture. We also have excellent research collaborations with world renowned teams including the Biomedical Research Unit in Reproductive Health; Warwick University medical School
 
The successful candidate will have a First Class or Upper Second Class Biological Sciences degree and as a minimum post graduate requirement have achieved the completion of the ACE Certificate in Clinical Embryology or the National School of Healthcare Science NHS Scientist Training Program. Applications from candidates with or close to attainment of HCPC registration would be preferred (please indicate in your application when you intend to submit your portfolio). Ideally, he/she will have substantial hands on embryology experience and be a licensed ICSI practitioner.
 
Opportunities for further training and research would be encouraged and supported.
 
The position is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week and will require some weekend and out of hours work on a rotational basis and will have on call responsibilities.

Salary:  £31,696 - £41,787 per annum
