The London Sperm Bank, established in 2010, is the largest UK supplier of donor sperm to patients undergoing Assisted Reproduction Treatment at all licensed HFEA clinics across the UK. We are seeking an ambitious Andrologist to join our established Andrology Laboratory and Sperm Bank services at The Bridge Centre.
The successful candidate will be required to perform all practical Andrology procedures, including: Semen analysis, Cryopreservation and sperm preparation for both patients and Sperm Donors, partake in Sperm Donor recruitment pathway, control and audit of a large stock of semen materials and maintain records in line with HFEA requirements. Candidates must have a relevant degree in biological science and have previous work experience in this field. Those with a Masters in reproductive science and/or experience within a HFEA licensed clinic are highly desirable.
Applicants will have a keen eye for details, be able to meet tight deadlines and work within a pressurized environment. This post involves extensive communication with colleagues, external agencies and patients and therefore excellent written and spoken English skills are an essential requirement.
This is a full-time position (40hrs per week) that also includes weekends on demand. Occasional travel to other clinic locations within the UK will be necessary on a required basis. An excellent salary package as well as potential for career progression is available for the successful candidate.
