Full Time Laboratory Assistant – Nurture Fertility, Nottingham
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Embryology Team at Nurture Fertility. Nurture is a leading provider of fertility services within the East Midlands and has recently moved to a new purpose built facility at Junction 25 of the M1. Nurture is a rapidly growing clinic and has some of the highest IVF success rates in the UK.
We are currently seeking an experienced Laboratory Technician/Assistant to join our existing team. The role will include performing blood hormone analysis, analysing Natural Killer Cell biopsy samples, preparing dishes for gamete & embryo culture, administrative duties and general laboratory maintenance. Communication with patients/referring centres is also required as part of the role. Full training will be provided for the role, if required.
Candidates must have a BSc in a Biological Science and a minimum of 2 years laboratory experience Excellent manual dexterity skills are required for the role and good communication & organisation skills are essential. Candidates must be able to work unsupervised following their training.
The position is available on a full time basis (37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri, 7.15am – 15.15pm). The position requires bank holiday work on a rotational basis and occasional weekend work, both of which attract enhanced payment.
Salary £18,000 - £22,000 per annum. Nurture Fertility also offers a generous performance related bonus scheme, life insurance cover, company contribution pension scheme & free car parking. Annual leave entitlement is 27 days/year.
