An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated embryologist to join our highly experienced, friendly team at Oxford Fertility. As one of the largest and most progressive clinics in the UK, we perform around 2000 cycles a year and pride ourselves on providing a highly professional and successful clinical service. We offer a comprehensive range of fertility services including PGD/PGS.
Oxford Fertility is located in a purpose built, state of the art facility and is part of the Fertility Partnership. The group is one of the largest providers of IVF in the UK. Our clinics, our staff and our patients, benefit from the partnership and the expertise of the group.
The post is ideally suited to candidates with about 2 years clinical experience or more, who have obtained, or are working towards state registration either via ACE certificate or STP routes and who wish to expand on their clinical experience and take on specific areas of responsibility. ICSI or biopsy experience is desirable but not essential as training will be given.
The candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, be a team player, able to work independently and have good attention to detail in order to help deliver a high quality laboratory service. The successful candidate will work within the Oxford Fertility embryology team, though opportunities may exist to assist at our partner clinics. In addition, Oxford Fertility actively partakes in national and international research trials and encourages involvement of our own staff in such research opportunities.
The role is full time, and will require participation in weekend work and on call work on a rotational basis.
