Band 8D: £68,599 - £84,932 per annum
Permanent, Full-time
Glasgow Royal Infirmary, Glasgow

We require a passionate Consultant Embryologist to join the Assisted Conception Service (ACS) team to ensure the delivery of all embryology and andrology services for the assessment and treatment of infertility including IVF, ICSI, PGD, gamete donation, sperm cryopreservation and surgical sperm retrieval.

You will join an existing ACS team working in a newly constructed state of the art laboratory where you will be responsible for the day to day running of the embryology and andrology laboratories. The ACS team includes Senior Medical Staff, a Laboratory Manager, a Quality Manager, Clinical Embryologists, Registered Nurses as well as Nursing and Administrative support staff.

You should have current registration with the HCPC as a Clinical Scientist (Embryology), and have a Life Sciences Degree and a PhD with considerable clinical experience and have substantial experience at senior level with managerial responsibilities. An ICSI licence and/or a biopsy licence is also essential.
